Whether it’s a simple chimney liner into a fireplace or a twin-wall independent flue system we have the expertise to deal with them all. Once we have commissioned and installed your stove we will light it, guiding you through the instructions and operational procedure to ensure you are relaxed and confident with it before we leave.

Radiant stoves require air around them to work effectively and not overheat which is why in most cases we recommend opening up the fireplace if at all possible. Cramming a stove into a tight space not only looks aesthetically wrong it is extremely inefficient and can damage the stove internals. Over the years we have devised a tried and tested method of opening up a fireplace recess. Our investment in a specialist industrial dust extraction system to keep your property free from brick dust has paid dividends in keeping mess to a minimum during our work. 

Once installed we carefully remove the brickwork to the opening size required to accommodate your new stove. Usually a structural concrete lintel of the correct loading is fitted compliant with building regulations. The fire chamber is then clad with a specialist non-combustible, pre-finished board which gives a superior finish to render and is ready to paint immediately, speeding up the whole process. 

Rendering the chamber is not recommended as over time the radiated heat from the stove will crack it in our experience. We then plaster the chimney breast, install the hearth, liner and stove ready for use.

Our newly refurbished showroom has a bespoke selection of beautiful pieces from local independent skilled craftsmen offering the finest stone and marble surrounds in the country. We also have a selection of ornate cast iron and timber surrounds to suit most tastes.

We stock a large variety of hearths including, Glass , Granite, Slate, Stone and Travertine which can be cut to size to suit your fireplace.
